The September issue of a fashion magazine conveys the pinnacle of fashion and style, which explains why W magazine chose Rihanna as their cover star. At just 26 years old, the pop star has been dubbed the “world’s wildest style icon.” Rih Rih was shot by the legendary Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot and styled by Edward Enninful for a tribal-inspired spread full of dramatic headdresses, edgy ear cuffs, daring septum rings.

The wardrobe and jewelry reflected a raw, animalistic theme with pieces from Michael Kors and Donna Karan as well as fabulous, lesser known designers like Helen Yarmak, Candice Angélini, and Lynn Ban. Since the handsome and talented designer named Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, 44, and Iman, 59, as his style muses, W featured all three beauties dressed in Fall 2014 Balmain pieces for a stunning spread.

Not only do these three women represent three generations of style and success, but they complement each other effortlessly! I’m impressed and pleasantly surprised by Rihanna’s fierce presence among supermodel royalty. Plus, if you ignore the immense stardom of the models, Rousteing’s designs are the epitome of chic.
