JASON WU DEBUTS FIRST HUGO BOSS CAMPAIGN

Jason Wu released the images from his very first campaign as creative director of German fashion house Hugo Boss. The 31-year old designer told Style.com that he went for a “character-driven” campaign to effectively showcase the Fall/Winter 2014 apparel and handbags.

British model Edie Campbell modeled the womenswear line, Wu’s first for the brand that he debuted at New York Fashion Week in February.

Scott Eastwood, the wickedly handsome 28-year old son of Clint Eastwood, is the face of the menswear.

Shot by legendary photographers Inez and Vinoodh and styled by Joe McKenna, the campaign definitely exudes confidence and sophistication. I especially love the women’s trench coat on Campbell and the leather men’s handbag, which both demonstrate Wu’s chic approach to his new position. Hugo Boss is a reputable brand for both men and womenswear, but the new creative director clearly has an exciting vision to continue pushing the house forward in fashion.

What do you think of Wu’s designs in his first campaign for Hugo Boss? Comment and let us know!
