ROBIN THICKE DID NOT WIN PAULA BACK

Image via Digital Spy

It seems as if Robin Thicke failed to “Get Her Back.” The devilishly handsome “Blurred Lines” singer, 37, and his gorgeous wife Paula Patton, 38, have reportedly put their Los Angeles home up for sale. TMZ is also reporting that a financial settlement is in the works to divide assets in preparation for a divorce.

According to their sources, no divorce attorneys have been hired (yet), but Robin has declared that he is moving on from the begging and pleading.

Thicke made what some saw as a desperate attempt to win his estranged wife back after the couple separated earlier this year. He made multiple appearances and performances declaring his love for Paula and even named an exclusive album after her. Unfortunately, his very public approach only received judgmental criticism from his fans and absolutely horrific sales of the Paula album.

The couple separated after multiple reports and pictures of Thicke publicly flirting and kissing other women throughout the success of his Blurred Lines album. Some speculated that the couple had an open relationship in the past, but if that were true, I’m sure the agreement did not include getting shot by paparazzi with other people.

I wonder if Robin is only “moving on” because the album tanked? For all we know, if the album shockingly sold 700,000 copies in the first week, he might still be promoting the album, performing singles, and professing his love on a big press tour. Either way, I don’t think Paula wanted his response to their separation to be more music.

Still, for the sake of their adorable 3-year old son, I hope that the divorce doesn’t get messy.

I guess it’s safe to say that this epic high school romance is over. Do you think they should try and work it out?
