Christopher Lemaire is stepping down as artistic director of womenswear at Hermes. The French designer took the reigns at the fashion house back in 2010 after the esteemed Jean Paul Gaultier, to the surprise of many fashion critics. Since then, his keen approach to chic luxury has continued the strong reputation of the Hermes brand.
Now, he will show his final collection in October for spring/summer 2015 at Paris Fashion Week.Image via StyleSight
After four years at the iconic company, Lemaire now reportedly plans to dedicate himself to his eponymous label, which includes menswear and womenswear. As his talents and notoriety continue to expand, I’m sure we will see nothing but greater things from him.
There is no word yet on who will take the creative helm at Herm
